Hot-rubber crack filling that seals out water and stops small cracks from becoming costly potholes. It's the most important maintenance you can do for your driveway.

Cracks are where pavement failure begins. A hairline crack costs pennies to fill. Leave it for two Maine winters and it becomes a multi-inch gap that costs 10x more to patch, or eventually forces a full replacement.
The mechanism is simple: water enters the crack, saturates the sub-base, then freezes and expands. Each cycle pushes the crack wider. Hot-rubber filling interrupts that cycle by creating a flexible, watertight seal that moves with the pavement.
We use hot-applied rubber crack filler heated to 380°F in a professional applicator. It flows into the crack, bonds to the asphalt walls, and cures flexible so it doesn't crack itself with temperature swings.
Cold-pour crack fillers from hardware stores are quick and cheap, but they stay brittle, pull away from the walls in cold weather, and rarely last more than one season in a Maine climate.

We walk and photograph all cracks, categorizing by width and depth to determine the right fill material.
Use wire brush, blower, and air compressor to remove all debris, vegetation, and loose material from cracks.
Melt commercial-grade hot-applied rubber sealant and carefully fill each crack flush with the surface.
Level excess material and allow the rubber to cool and bond to the asphalt walls, typically 15–30 minutes.
Walk the property with you to confirm all cracks are fully sealed before we pack up.

“Paul and his team shows up, and like a well oiled machine they work at cleaning the driveway and edges, then they come through and seal the cracks, followed by the driveway sealer going down. Then they stake the driveway end to make sure we all remember to stay off it. Not only is the driveway sealed, but their friendly professionalism, quality of work, on time manner and fair pricing says a lot about PRC.”
